Vincent Enyeama Nigerian Ex-Super Eagles captain, has been appointed by French side, Iris Club de Croix, as their goalkeepers’ trainer 

This was announced on Friday through personal Facebook handle by The Championnat National 3 club side. The club stated that the Nigerian will handle their goalkeeping department, especially the reserves and U-16 sides.
He is Nigeria’s most-capped player with 101 appearances in goal for the Eagles, featuring at three World Cups.



“Vincent Enyeama, Nigeria international, winner of the AFCON 2013, former goalkeeper of Lille from 2011 to 2018, will take charge of goalkeepers in training (from reserve to U-16),” the club posted.

Enyeama, 37, has not tasted competitive football action since quitting Lille in 2018 and was reportedly eyeing a move to the Premier Soccer League in South Africa before the announcement.

Tragedy as lightning strike kills three FRSC officials in Ogun

Three officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been struck to death by thunder in Ogun State. DAILY POST reports that the incident occurred on Wednesday at the old toll gate, Ilese, in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of the state. The FRSC confirmed the incident which reportedly occurred around 10am. The deceased FRSC officials were said to be planning for the early morning parade at the premises of their office when the tragic incident happenedIt was gathered that over 10 operatives of the corps were at the location when the thunder, struck and killed three of them immediately.
