What seems like a joke turned into reality today at Willoughby Street. As Area boys refused to give NCDC Ambulance access to three Suspected Covid19 patient.

Residents in one of the most populated areas in Lagos Willoughby Street were surprised at sight is a Siren Ambulance of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for the first time in their street, in Response to three Suspected Coronavirus case.


What was seen as a respite soon turned to apprehension and commotion by the time urchins took over the scene, holding the three suspected COVID-19 patients hostage and preventing the NCDC officials from gaining access into the building housing them.

It turns out that some people are mindless of the fight against Covid19.


At the end of the day, caregivers were turned back without access to the suspected cases as the both parties (patient and ncdc) were not able to reach the demands of the Area Boys

Tragedy as lightning strike kills three FRSC officials in Ogun

Three officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been struck to death by thunder in Ogun State. DAILY POST reports that the incident occurred on Wednesday at the old toll gate, Ilese, in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of the state. The FRSC confirmed the incident which reportedly occurred around 10am. The deceased FRSC officials were said to be planning for the early morning parade at the premises of their office when the tragic incident happenedIt was gathered that over 10 operatives of the corps were at the location when the thunder, struck and killed three of them immediately. When contacted, the Ogun State Spokesperson of the FRSC Florence Okpe confirmed the incident.
