Armed men abduct Eyimba and Abia comets players in Ondo.

Dayo Ojo and Benjamin Illuyomade, two Abia players were abducted on Sunday, 22nd of march. Dayo Ojo plays as the second striker for the well known Enyimba football club of Aba while Benjamin Illuyomade plays for Abia  Comets.

The Abduction of the footballers was done at Benin-Akure road in owo L.G.A of Ondo state. Another player by name Emma James who escaped the Scene narrated the attack. He said, 
      "We were traveling on the road when the gunmen came out from the bush and  attacked us. They shot sporadically before abducting some people in the vehicle        including the two players but I managed      to escape."

It was reported that the abductors reached out to Enyimba Coach for ransom payment. Enyimba known as the People's Elephant has been a prominent football club since the 2000s. It plays in the Nigerian Professional Football League and is considered the most successful Nigerian football Club.The Kidnap of Dayo Ojo might pose a hitch to the football club.

Tee-Leo Ikoro, Ondo State Police Command spokesperson confirmed the case and assured the football club of thorough investigation.

A very beautiful lady in the university of Porthacourt (uniport) Adoki Joy, 400l student of Mgr dept  .  went missing last month, along side with 2 other male final year students The suspect was apprehended by the police and he confessed to have raped and murdered the young girl alongside 2 others. Tragedy as lightning strike kills three FRSC officials in Ogun

Three officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been struck to death by thunder in Ogun State. DAILY POST reports that the incident occurred on Wednesday at the old toll gate, Ilese, in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of the state. The FRSC confirmed the incident which reportedly occurred around 10am. The deceased FRSC officials were said to be planning for the early morning parade at the premises of their office when the tragic incident happenedIt was gathered that over 10 operatives of the corps were at the location when the thunder, struck and killed three of them immediately. When contacted, the Ogun State Spokesperson of the FRSC Florence Okpe confirmed the incident.
