John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, is a Nigerian   actor   and comedian. Okafor is considered to be one of Nigeria's most talented comic characters. His humorous acting is often characterized by stupidity, hilarious imbecility and a sharp disconnection from reality. He hails from Nkanu West L.G., Enugu State. After elementary school, in 1974, Okafor moved to Sapele to stay with his brother, after his father’s demise. In Sapele, he did menial jobs so he could sponsor himself to school and support his family. He then worked as a hairstylist, ventured into photography and also worked in a company that produces crates. After secondary school, he was admitted into the College of Education, Yola, but pulled out due to financial difficulties. The ongoing fraud charges against Woodberry has been dismissed by the U.S court This was due to insufficient evidence against him. Olalekan Ponle, aka Woodberry According to Premium Times  "The U.S government filed a motion through its attorney, John R. Lausch, requesting that the case against Ponle be dismissed without prejudice. “Counsel for the government has spoken with counsel for the defendant and defendant’s counsel has no objection to this motion. Respectfully submitted,” Lausch stated. He said it is in pursuant with Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure 48, which states that the government may, with leave of court, dismiss an indictment, information, or complaint. Police of Fadama  in the Greater Accra region,  have identified and arrested the four suspected car snatchers as David Asare, aged 19 years; Richard Awotey, 18 years; Gideon Addo, 18 years, and Millicent Adjatey an 18-year-old Form Two student of a Methodist senior high in the Eastern Region.who attacked and robbed a taxi driver of his vehicle in Suhum, in the Eastern Region, on July 2, 2016. The four youngsters were however picked up at Kokomba Market in Accra around 11:00 p.m. upon a tip-off.  The head  of the State Security Services (SSS, also called DSS) at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, Safiyanu Abba, has been accused of slapping a security officer at the airport. On Wednesday, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria said Mr Abba breached the security protocol and assaulted the officer for calling him to order on Friday. FAAN said the SSS boss had prevented security officers at the airport from performing a mandatory check on a passenger. According to FAAN, Abba not only breached the security procedure at the airport, he also slapped a security officer, who wanted to ensure compliance. “We note with dismay that Mr Safiyanu Abba, the Head of DSS at NAIA deliberately obstructed airport Security process, and slapped an Aviation Security Officer”, FAAN tweeted on Wednesday.
