Lausch, requesting that the case against Ponle be dismissed without prejudice. “Counsel for the government has spoken with counsel for the defendant and defendant’s counsel has no objection to this motion. Respectfully submitted,” Lausch stated. He said it is in pursuant with Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure 48, which states that the government may, with leave of court, dismiss an indictment, information, or complaint. Doctor Urey A promising young female doctor has passed away tragically after completing NYSC. She go's by name Urey, who just passed out from National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, on Thursday, July 16th, has died. Urey a graduate of Imo state University, department of Optometry was said to have ‘struggled’ with medical school and finally got out successfully. According to report, Urey who was a 2019 Batch B stream 2 corper, was involved in a fatal accident at Onne, Rivers state, on her way returning back home. Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Daniel Pondei, appeared to faint as the House of Representatives committee on NDDC grilled him on Monday Acting Managing Director of the NDDC, Daniel Pondei appears to faint on Monday during interrogation on Monday. The committee is in its fourth day of public hearing as it investigates alleged financial misappropriation at the agency. Pondei had been grilled for over an hour and when he slowly slumped over his desk, appearing too faint. The report has it that an auto crashed happened yesterday at old umuahia road  three persons are reportedly lost their lives while several others were injured in an auto crash involving a Dyna van and a trailer on the old Aba –Umuahia highway, Abia state. An eyewitness lamented that the crash would have been avoided, but for what he described as reckless driving and impatience on the part of the driver of the van. It was gathered that the van with registration number: EZA 826 YF, was conveying wood and other roofing equipment as it rammed into a trailer loaded with cement at the Ntigha/Umuaro junction leading to Akwa Ibom state. The trailer driver coming from the Ntigha/Umuaro road was said to be negotiating to the old Aba –Umuahia highway when the crash occurred.
